Featuring dishes from 3 regions of the world at any time, r.tl has already been to Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Egypt and Israel, and new regions are introduced every three months. It is Chef Hunnisett's mission to research and bring true flavours and tastes from every region featured. Dishes are served in sharing plate portions so you can either order several and share among the table, or order your own.

r.tl features a power selection of 30+ wines by the glass, using a state of the art wine preservation technlogy that allows serving premium and reserve wines by the glass. This luxury allows us to serve glass and tasting portions, even for Champagnes, to connoisseurs.

With wines ranging in $4 to $12 per glass, and $30 to $1500 per bottle, sommelier Alain Canuel dedicates time to selecting an interesting, varied and refreshing selection, as well as pairing wines with food based on the featured regions to present a true regional experience.

A full bar with a focus on classic mixology stocks a significant array of premium and versatile selection of spirits, and has fast become the talk of town and the place to experience true cocktails on leather barstools and a handcrafted walnut and glass tile bartop.

Our sought after, award-winning bartenders with successful stints in London, Montreal, New York, Australia and the Caribbean, understudied the great Degroff, Craddoch and Regan.

Already recognized as one of Vancouver's trendy and unique spots, the private dining room at r.tl is a lush and relaxed space that accomodates small groups (up to 8) in the spirit of the prohibition era. Operations Manager Alain Canuel has the perfect repertoire of skills to manage r.tl, be it coordinating a high-profile event, or expertly coaxing the cork from a bottle of vintage Champagne, though, more often he'll skillfully saber it by the guests' request.
